Trestles Update

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) announced last week that the Secretary of Commerce has agreed to hold a public hearing regarding the Transportation Corridor Agencies’ (TCA) appeal of the California Coastal Commission denial of the Foothill-South Toll Road. This will afford the Save Trestles Campaign the opportunity to let the Commerce Department know in person that San Onofre State Beach is too precious to be sacrificed for a pay-to-drive road. The date and venue are yet to be determined.
