Artists Todd Hannigan & Mick Kelleher Record Track to Raise Awareness for ‘Clean Water at the Bu’
After hearing about the work that the West LA/Malibu Chapter is doing to clean up the water at Surfrider Beach, musical artists Todd Hannigan & Mick Kelleher decided to join forces to lay down a track that raises awareness about water quality issues affecting Surfrider Beach.
Both artists have spent a number of years on the beach and in the water, from Ventura to San Diego, as well as performing at musical venues along the way. So, the two joined up at Brotheryn Records last week to record the song “Surf Rider”.
The duo will perform the song for the first time at the Surfrider West LA/Malibu benefit “Clean Water at the Bu” at the Air Conditioned in Venice, CA on Thursday, August 28th. Other artists performing include West Indian Girl and DJ Caparro.
