In celebration of Earth Day, Eclipse AVEDA Salon is excited to announce that it will hold a fundraising event to support the Surfrider Foundation. The first annual “Walk for Water” will help this international, non-profit environmental organization to continue to protect the world’s oceans, waves and beaches for the enjoyment of all people by means of conservation, activism and education. Eclipse Salon will present 100% of the profit raised to the Surfrider Foundation. Our team has set a goal of $4,000.
The day’s events will be a pleasant and paced 6km (4 mile) walk around the community with the Eclipse AVEDA Salon team. It will begin and end at the salon location. The significance of the 6km walk is that it is the average distance a woman walks daily to obtain drinking water in third-world countries.
The entrance fee is a minimum of $50 to walk and can be raised by either collecting sponsors or by contributing a flat donation. You may also sponsor an Eclipse team member for the walk. By pledging $50, you will receive a complimentary environmentally-friendly sports bottle–pledge $150 and receive a Walk for Water event t-shirt!

I’m curious, I was listening to a radio program where a lady was promoting the Walk for Water and she mentioned how people can donate $100 and that money can buy a family a proper water filter.
I’m interested in donating $100 but I’m not sure how and where. Is that tied into this site? Is there a program or something I send the money into.
Would appreciate advice on this:)
